This Policy forms part of our Terms & Conditions. If anything here conflicts with the Terms & Conditions on refund or voucher matters, this Policy applies.
1. How Cancellations Are Refunded
If you cancel a Confirmed Booking, or if the Venue cancels it, any eligible refund is issued as a Voucher — usable on a future booking at the same Venue and category. This applies whether your original Booking was paid Venue-Collect (in person) or Online-Collect (through SPLIX).
2. Refund Amounts
How much of your Booking value is issued as a Voucher depends on how far in advance you cancel before your Session. The applicable cancellation windows and refund percentages may vary by Venue or Session, and are shown to you before you confirm your Booking, and again at the time you cancel.
3. Your Voucher
A Voucher issued to you:
- can only be used at the Venue where the original Booking was made, and for the same sport/category (e.g. a badminton cancellation produces a badminton-only Voucher at that Venue);
- belongs to your account only — it cannot be transferred, sold, or given to another person;
- cannot be exchanged or redeemed for cash;
- includes tax in its value — since our prices are tax-inclusive, your refund and Voucher value reflect the full amount you originally paid, tax included.
If your refund amount is larger than RM50, it may be issued as more than one Voucher (each up to RM50) rather than a single larger one, so you can still use part of it even on a smaller future booking.
4. Voucher Validity
Your Voucher is valid for 6 months from the date of issue. We’ll remind you by notification a few days before it expires. An expired, unused Voucher’s value is forfeited.
SPLIX may change the validity period for Vouchers issued in the future at any time; this will not shorten the validity of any Voucher you already hold.
If your Voucher has expired, you’re welcome to contact SPLIX support at [email protected] — reactivation isn’t guaranteed, but may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
5. Using Your Voucher
- One Voucher can be applied per Booking. If you hold several Vouchers, we’ll suggest the one expiring soonest.
- If your new Booking costs more than the Voucher’s value, you pay the difference through your usual payment method.
- If your new Booking costs less than the Voucher’s value, the remaining balance is forfeited — it does not carry forward or get reissued.
- If your Booking includes more than one session in the same checkout, your Voucher’s value is split proportionally across each session, so each one can still be cancelled and refunded individually.
6. If a Voucher-Paid Booking Is Later Cancelled
If you cancel a Booking that was paid for (in whole or in part) using a Voucher, the eligible refund on that portion is issued as a new Voucher — not a reinstatement of the original one, which stays used. The new Voucher gets its own fresh validity period from its issue date and cannot be worth more than the amount the original Voucher contributed.
7. When a Voucher May Be Cancelled (Voided)
SPLIX may void an issued Voucher — meaning it can no longer be used — if:
- the original payment is reversed (for example, a successful bank or card chargeback);
- the Booking or account is found to involve fraud; or
- the Venue the Voucher is locked to is no longer on the Platform, and SPLIX is unable to offer an equivalent alternative.
8. Summary
We may update this Policy from time to time. Where changes are material, we’ll notify you by email or in-app notification at least 7 days before the change takes effect. Continued use of the Platform after that date means you accept the updated Policy.
